The Small Business Manager Distance Learning program prepares you for an entry-level management position or to operate your own small business. You will take courses such as human resource management, entrepreneurship, and marketing.
You'll learn about business functions and how they work together. You'll also develop strong business communications skills to ensure you're prepared for the next step in your career. At the end of your program, you'll have the skills you need to start your own business or manage others. Students who successfully complete this program may qualify to continue their education towards a Business Diploma in our Business Administration program offered in-person at the Prince of Wales Campus.
This flexible distance program is offered on a part-time and full-time basis, with the same learning tools, level of communication, and support you would experience in the classroom. The program is delivered through a combination of self-paced learning and virtual classroom sessions, ensuring you have the benefit of communicating with your fellow students and the instructors, who are located on the West Prince Campus. Opportunities are available for on-campus meetings with your instructors, as well as virtual office hours.
