Tailored for new and aspiring managers, this course provides foundational knowledge and skills necessary for steering and advancing initiatives within their organizational or workplace context. 

Course Format

This course has four modules. For each module, you will be given questions and an assignment so you can put what you learned into practice.

Each module has a quiz to see how much information you retained from the material.

Upon successful completion of this microcredential, participants will be able to assess and select options for effective decision-making, strategic planning, and project management to develop and advance organizational or workplace initiatives. 

Competencies: 

  1. Analyze key decision-making models to enhance effectiveness in managerial planning. 
  2. Identify strategic planning practices applicable to project planning scenarios. 
  3. Outline fundamental project planning concepts.  
  4. Consider methods for project review to inform and enhance future planning.
